Annotation

Bookmory lets you capture notes while you read — from quick thoughts to structured summaries — and revisit them later.

Notes about a book can be added directly on the Book Card by tapping Add Note Add Note icon.

Available note input options:

  1. Type it yourself (manual input)
  2. Text from Camera (scan text)
  3. Text from Photo (extract text from an image)
Only manual input is included in the free plan. For the Premium options, see Premium.

Bookmory helps you organise your notes by category. When you save a note, you can assign it to one of the following:

  • Book Content (important quotes, facts, plot points)
  • Summary (chapter summaries or quick recaps)
  • Thought (your reactions, opinions, ideas)
  • Question (open questions, things to research later)

Each note can be saved with a date and a relevant page number, so you can later understand exactly when and where it came from.

Your notes are displayed in the Memorize menu Memorize icon.

To re-experience your notes, you can use the Random Notes option, which surfaces notes again as a quick review tool.
